Following on from the Community Growing Survey which we ran last summer, CCDC are running a pilot project this year, along at the Keder houses in Acheninver. Saturday 2nd March saw the first gathering: the main task was fixing the site’s drainage, along with tidying up the raised beds and pathways and piling up timber from trees felled to give the site more light. Over lunch we discussed what we’re going to grow, with a view to having enough for a Harvest Festival in the autumn!
