There are signs of spring in the air: houses are being decorated, fences painted, signs touched up…and we are all getting for Easter and the welcome sight of our holiday visitors. While Summer Isles Foods may be departing for eastern shores, the Summer Isles themselves are still very much in evidence and show no signs of going anywhere so the view that greets our visitors will be as lovely as ever. The Summer Isles Hotel is getting ready for opening day on the 3rd of April, the Achiltibuie Gallery will be open by Easter, the Fuaran and the Piping School Cafe have lots of tempting homecooking on the go, there are fresh green shoots at the Achilitbuie Garden and a cup of tea is always on offer at the Craft Shop. Find out more and check out the accommodation available in the area on Achiltibuie Tourist Association’s website www.coigach.com – whether you’re looking for a camping pitch, a plush hotel room or fancy a cosy cottage or an island retreat for the holidays there is plenty on offer.
Hurry hurray back to Coigach!
