Album commissioned by CCDC, composed and performed by eight Scottish musicians who were inspired by the landscapes and people of Coigach and Assynt.
Following on from Talamh Beò, Six Hundred and Thirty-Five Days is also inspired by the people and landscapes of Coigach and Assynt. Writing started during May 2021 when everyone met up in Achiltibuie for the first time. The album features another stellar collaboration, this time of eight Scottish musicians: Quee MacArthur, Kathleen MacInnes, Ross Whyte, Graham Mackenzie, Mairearad Green, Joseph Peach, Rachel Newton and Charlie Grey. The tunes and songs deal with broad subject matter ranging from ancient inter-parish feuds to the effects of global warming.
