Works are well underway and there is a lot of material being moved around and brought to site. In order to best accommodate the new homes the road is being realigned to access the houses from the west side of the site rather than the existing route along the eastern boundary. The contractor is utilising the existing route to access the work while the new road route is excavated, filled and then built up. This requires moving a lot of material to form a solid base for the new road. This groundwork stage will last for 3 or 4 months and will enable the house building to proceed with the new access route then brought into use.
